When it comes to high-performance marine applications, reliability and precision are critical. The Custom Stainless Steel Braided Trim Lines, designed specifically for Single Ram Power Trim and Tilt systems on high-performance Mercury Outboard engines by Buckshot Racing #77, exemplify these qualities. Engineered for durability, safety, and optimal performance, these custom lines are the ideal upgrade for demanding marine environments.
Key Features and Specifications
Buckshot Racing #77’s custom stainless steel braided trim lines are purpose-built for single ram power trim and tilt systems, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety in high-performance applications.
The inner core is constructed from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which offers exceptional chemical resistance and compatibility with hydraulic fluids, including marine-grade trim fluids.
The outer stainless steel braid enhances the hose’s strength, making it resistant to high pressures, abrasion, and external damage. An optional protective outer cover is available to shield the stainless steel braid from saltwater corrosion and environmental wear.
These trim lines are engineered to handle extreme hydraulic pressures. With typical working pressures exceeding 3,000 psi and burst pressures reaching up to 10,000 psi, they provide safety and reliability under intense conditions.
Additionally, they operate within a wide temperature range of -100°F to +450°F (-73°C to +232°C), making them suitable for a variety of marine environments. Tailored specifically for single ram systems on Mercury Outboard engines, these trim lines are available in various lengths to ensure a perfect fit and leak-free performance.
These custom trim lines are optimized for use in several marine applications, including high-performance Mercury Outboard engines. They are designed to function seamlessly in single ram power trim and tilt systems, making them ideal for competitive boating and performance environments.
One of the most significant advantages of Buckshot Racing #77’s custom trim lines is their durability. The stainless steel braided construction is highly resistant to damage from abrasion, impact, and environmental exposure, ensuring these lines remain operational even in the harshest conditions.
Aesthetically, the polished stainless steel braid provides a professional, high-performance look, complementing any high-end marine setup. Each line is custom-tailored for single ram systems on Mercury Outboards, ensuring a perfect fit and eliminating the need for modification.
Installation and Maintenance
Proper installation and maintenance are critical for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of these custom trim lines. Avoid touching or crossing live voltage connections in your rugging.
During installation, ensure that the trim lines are the correct length for your Mercury Outboard’s single ram system. Always use compatible fittings and torque them to the specifications provided by the manufacturer. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the fittings or the hose.
Regular inspection of the lines is recommended to check for wear, corrosion, or leaks. The fittings should also be inspected to ensure they remain secure and free of damage.
After use in saltwater environments, it is essential to clean the lines by rinsing them with fresh water to remove salt deposits. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that might damage the stainless steel braid.
Finally, be sure to replace trim lines according to the manufacturer’s recommendations or if visible signs of degradation occur. Proper storage, such as keeping the lines in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, will further enhance their lifespan.
