Better Ignition The smaller iridium center electrode of the plug offers a stronger and more concentrated spark, allowing quicker combustion. These plugs have superior ignitability and require less voltage from the ignition coil, leading to fewer misfires.
Enhanced DurabilityIridium is much harder and stronger than platinum, making it more durable to withstand the high voltage coming through the spark plug wire.
Extended LifespanIridium plugs have the longest lifespan compared to a standard spark plug or platinum plug.

If your spark plug gap is too small, the spark will be weak and the engine will run poorly. If the gap is too large, the ignition system may not have enough voltage to spark across the gap or turbulence in the combustion chamber may blow out the spark. This can cause misfires.
Additionally, spark plug tips can be damaged and j-gaps weakened by adjusting the gap incorrectly, so we pre-gapped these spark plugs for you.
