The Buckshot Racing #77 SS-9 Mercury 9 amp Stator, fits all Mercury V6 2-stroke outboard 135, 150, 175, 200 HP, 225 Pro Max, 260 ROS, and 300 Drag outboards; including 2.0, 2.4, and 2.5-liter powerheads manufactured between 1976 and 2005.
 
The SS-9 Stator (9 AMP) construction reduces drag on the motor and provides less battery charging which often helps reduce overcharging due to smaller tunnel / drag race lithium batteries and stronger rare-earth magnet race flywheels.
 
No spark, miss fires, won't rev over a certain rpm, and/or tach stops working are often casues of a bad stator.
