Our new Control Harness Adapter, a direct replacement for Mercury OEM Part Number 84-896542T01, is engineered to provide compatibility between Mercury outboard engine models from 2006 and newer and older 8-pin round control systems found on 2-strokes.
 
This one-foot (1') long adapter makes it easier for boat owners to re-rig or repower their boats with a newer Opti or Mercury 4-stroke outboard while maintaining existing boat harness and controls. We include a stainless steel bracket to securely hold the 8-pin male and female connectors together.
